Palmetto Country Club, is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Benton, Louisiana. Guests must be accompanied by a member in order to play.

Palmetto Country Club first opened for play in 1950. The course was designed by Jim Lipe. The course that was renovated in 1999. 

The course is an old traditional layout

Course closed late 2014.

Plans to convert the property to residential homes has been put on hold.

The 146 acres now sit empty, the gate padlocked, those beautiful greens and fairways now home to weeds and overgrown grass.
